I’ve been using Photoshop Elements 8 for my digital scrapbooking and debating on whether or not to upgrade to PSE 9.  Usually I wait for 2 version changes before I upgrade on any software.  However, one major new feature for Photoshop Elements 9 is the ability to now use layer masks.  That feature alone has seriously tempted me to buy PSE 9.  So, I’ve been watching for great deals on this software, and I’ve found them!

Becky Higgins posted a sneak peek video on her blog of her new Project Life 2011 kit.  If you loved Project Life 2010, you are really going to fall for the 2011 version.  She’s going to be offering 2 different designs for the kit.  The Amber Edition is in more feminine color tones, and the Turquoise Edition will have a more graphic, linear style.  Both kits will be similar products to this year’s Project Life kit.

You will also be able to buy just the albums if you like.  But more exciting is that the photo pocket pages will be available separately in packs of 12, and they include a format for vertical photos, something that the 2010 edition was missing.   Finally, the line up of Project Life products will offer a box of white journaling cards in 3×4 size that will fit in the pocket pages either vertically or horizontally.

She ends this post with some really exciting news.  Project Life 2010 will be on sale at Amazon on November 26th, Black Friday, for $29.99!  This is a $20 savings.  Mark your calendars because these may very well sell out like they did when they were first released in January.  Project Life would also make a great holiday gift.
