Where to Find Good Discount Scrapbooking Magazines

There is probably no limit to the amount of money one could spend on the hobby of scrapbooking.  From the supplies to the actual conventions, a good scrapper may wonder just how to trim a few dollars from the cost of this hobby.  For example, where can you find good discount scrapbooking magazines?  Since the cost of magazines can sometimes be more than the cost of scrapping supplies, it's no wonder that hobbyists can always be on the lookout for discount scrapbooking magazines.

Obviously your local bookstore will have a wide selection from which to choose, but don't limit yourself to just what you find there.  Many of the items they carry are full price and not what you would actually call discount scrapbooking magazines at all.  While they may have more to choose from and more in stock, you're certainly not going to save any money this way.

Other places to find discount scrapbooking magazines might be used bookstores or even thrift stores.  For instance, if you have a Goodwill store or a Salvation Army thrift store near you, browse their selection of books and magazines.  Very often they sell older magazines that are still in good shape for a fraction of the original cost.  Since scrapbooking is not something that ever goes out of style or changes its look, you can usually find perfect designs and suggestions in even the oldest of discount scrapbooking magazines that you might find at these used goods stores.

Another great option for many is garage or yard sales.  Very often people sell their older magazines in batches or boxes.  Yes, sometimes there will be pages missing or they won't be in the best of shape, but when you consider that you can sometimes get literally dozens of discount scrapbooking magazines for just a few dollars, you realize what a gem these items are!

And of course you can always go online and shop the internet for discount scrapbooking magazines.  Many sites sell magazines for a steep discount if you purchase more than one name or if you subscribe for two years or more.  If you're really into the hobby of scrapbooking and know that these magazines will be used and appreciated, this might not be a bad investment.  You could even share the cost of your discount scrapbooking magazines with a friend or a group of friends, if you share the magazines as well!
