Keeping your Easter cards for scrapbooking is a great way to preserve memories of this special day.  This is also a good idea for baby's first Easter.  What are some ways of dressing up your Easter scrapbooking card, and what are some things to avoid?  After all, you want a scrapbook page that's looks professional and presentable, not one that just looks thrown together around your card!  There are some quick tips and hints we can give you to remember when it comes to making up an Easter scrapbooking card page, and we'll outline them here.

Obviously you should start with paper that's complementary to your card.  If the front of it is very colorful, you need a solid page or sheet.  If you have a very busy Easter scrapbooking card and a very busy page, they will just clash with one another and not be very pleasing to the eye.  On the other hand, if the card is very simple, you might opt for the page itself to be a bit more decorated.  Usually you can find ones that have rows of colorfully decorated eggs on them or bunnies or something else that goes with Easter.  Find a color that also complements your card.  Remember the right colors for your Easter scrapbooking card will probably include pastels, along with strong purples, yellows, and so on. 

Easter scrapbooking cards are very easy to be creative with.  You can cut out colorful construction paper in the shape of an egg and decorate it as if it were an Easter egg.  This is a great project for the kids!  Use some of the Easter grass that fills baskets as embellishment.  It's also very easy to create a rabbit from a template and color it in - white for the body, pink inside the ears, and so on.  For a really fun idea, cut out what looks like a large basket and put your Easter scrapbooking card in the middle of it, as if it were really in a basket. 

You can find many embellishments that are perfect for a page revolving around an Easter scrapbooking card, but the real fun of scrapbooking is making up your own decorations and being creative.  Let your imagination go wild and see what you can create yourself.  After all, there are no right or wrong ways to do any type of scrapbooking page!
