Incorporating Dumb Sports Sayings and Scrapbooking

If you're an avid athlete and very good at whatever sport you participate in, you may love to have your photos, scorecards, and other mementos kept forever in scrapbooks.  But for the rest of us who are a bit clutzy out on the field, it may be better to think about some funny but rather dumb sports sayings and scrapbooking.  After all, who better to sum up the silliness we feel when trying to compete than the pros who are sometimes just as clueless off the field?  Here's a collection of truly priceless sports sayings for scrapbooking that you might consider:

"I'm not an athlete. I'm a professional baseball player."  (John Kruk)
"Baseball is 90% mental -- the other half is physical."  (Yogi Berra)
"I was thinking about making a comeback, until I pulled a muscle vacuuming."  (Johnny Bench)
"Men, I want you just thinking of one word all season. One word and one word only: Super Bowl."  (Bill Peterson)

Using these sports sayings for scrapbooking isn't as hard as you might think.  When you have a picture of someone in a baseball uniform that is obviously out of shape you might consider the first quote, about baseball players not being athletes.  Any picture of a football team can use the Bill Peterson quote.  Simply add these sports sayings for scrapbooking the way you would any other wording.  Choose a corner of your page and add it in paragraph form, or run the words along the bottom or top of the page.  Be sure to include the quote marks so that people know they're quotes and not just something you made up, and of course you should always include the name of the person that said it.

Here are some more sports sayings for scrapbooking you might consider:

"I feel like I'm the best, but you're not going to get me to say that."  (Jerry Rice)
"We've got to find a way to win. I'm willing to start cheating."  (Marv Cook)
"We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees."  (Jason Kidd)
"Sure there have been injuries and deaths in boxing - but none of them serious"  (Alan Minter)
"I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father"  (Greg Norman)

The point of using these silly sports sayings for scrapbooking is that you want to have fun with your scrapbooks and not take things too seriously.
