Some Quick Digital Scrapbooking Tips

Using a digital scrapbooking kit or template can be a great way to create pages right there on your computer, where most people have their photos sitting anyway! But as easy as they are to use, there are some quick digital scrapbooking tips you might want to consider first before starting with your pages.
One of those quick digital scrapbooking tips is that you don't want to be too tied to using the templates you find with these kits. It's easy to just download a page that has a place for your photo, add that photo, and then move on. But one of the joys of the hobby of scrapbooking is making pages that are unique and original to you and that really express your own personality. You may not come across a lot of digital scrapbooking tips that tell you to add new embellishments and wording but it's a good idea to try. One of the great things about digital scrapbooks is that you can add or take away anything you want and keep doing this until you're perfectly happy, and then print off your page. Nothing is wasted because you used the glue too early!
Other digital scrapbooking tips include making room for new pictures as well. Sometimes we get stuck on the idea of having one picture per page and that's it; try adding some complementary pictures on the other side of the page or along one side. This works especially well if you resize those complementary pictures so that they're smaller than the one main picture. And of course digital scrapbooking tips wouldn't be complete if they didn't include pointers on how to add the wording! Again, it's tempting to just put something in the middle of the page but this is like putting your couch in the middle of the living room. Move things to one side or another, and then mix up the other elements as well. Most digital scrapbooking tips will involve moving things around rather than just putting everything in the middle or along the top or bottom.
Read through the digital scrapbooking tips that seem to apply to you and your pages but remember that a scrapbook is as personal as the picture itself. Don't tie yourself to one layout or another or to using the template as its set out. Add your own touches and make your page something unique and personal.
