If you own a horse, a ranch, a farm, or just love all things Western, you may be looking for some scrapbooking horse pages ideas.  Whether or not you're actually looking to keep the photos of a horse in this scrapbook, there are some things you can keep in mind for anything that has to do with a Western theme or the rodeo or anything along these lines.

First, remember that you can get some great clip art and other elements from the internet.  When scrapbooking horse pages, you may want to add horse related embellishments and photos or cartoons you've printed off.  This might include bales of hay, those wooden fences you see on ranches, cactus trees, tumbleweeds, barns, and all the items you need to ride a horse, such as the saddle, reins, horseshoes, and so on.  You can really get creative and fun when scrapbooking horse pages, so don't let your imagination be limited.  Another great idea is to take smaller elements such as those horseshoes or bales of hay and run them up and around the page so that you have a border.  You can also do this with a wooden fence - run it along the bottom of the page, as if you're fencing in your elements on your page. 

When scrapbooking horse pages for a particular horse you own, be sure to include the horse's name as well.  You can do this in big bold letters across the top or along one side.  And add a photo border to really make it stand out.  You don't need an actual cutout for a border, but you can use a large horseshoe that overlaps the photo or use smaller bales of hay on each corner.  Again, being creative is the key to any good scrapbooking, and is really important when scrapbooking horse pages as well.  Another way to dress up the photo is to make a line of small horseshoes in a jagged row behind the horse, as if this is where he or she was stepping to get to where the photo is!
