We are currently noticing a new trend in scrapbooking pet pages that is very popular and could be very interesting to start. Everybody wants to have that perfect scrapbook for the pet they love but having one that is similar to all the others made by everybody is not special. Something special is following this new trend because it is virtually impossible to create to identical looking scrapbooks so yours will always remain unique. We are talking about a pet shapes approach.

This whole idea stands around building a unique layout for your pet scrapbook. It needs to be based on the animal, basically on what pet it is. You will need some materials, usually harder than average cardboard and a pair of good scissors that will be able to cut through it. Now look for a shape that best describes your pet. For instance, if you have a cat, the silhouette of a cat is the way to go. If you have a bunny, one that highlights the pointy years and maybe the tail is again a good idea. Now you will need to cut out a number of pages, all with the same shape, one that resembles your pet. Cut out as many pages as you want to have in your scrapbook and do 2 extras for covers. You might want to use a different color for the covers and although you will be using the same shape, try to make it bigger in order to give a more unique sense and make the scrapbook cover stand out.

When dealing with 100 percent made scrapbooks, just like this one for your pet, you will need to draw and post a picture on the first page as well. You would also need to give it a title and maybe even a motto. The title will usually include the pet’s name while the motto should be something that is somehow linked to the personality of the animal. Now stat posting pictures, add text, stickers, different elements that could make it even more special and finish your pet scrapbook. The simple design chosen will make it special. Combine this with the pictures, comments and extra elements and you will truly have a great memory keeper, shaped exactly as your pet. The rest is all up to your imagination! Do not hesitate to use it and try different things. If you make a mistake, just cut out a new pet shape page and redo it! It is as simple as that!
