No doubt you have some ideas already about Easter scrapbooking layouts and may have completed some beautiful Easter albums already.  But you might also find that your layouts look a lot like everyone else's and are stuck for ideas outside the typical flowers and eggs.  There are many unique ideas you can use for Easter scrapbooking layouts if you consider a few simple pointers.  Let's go over them here.

For one thing, remember that Easter scrapbooking layouts don't need to be the typical purple and yellow colors you might associate with Easter.  Many albums are done with whatever colors you find enjoyable.  If you prefer colors of the rainbow or autumn colors, there's nothing to say you can't create Easter scrapbooking layouts with these colors and themes.  Of course if you want to stick with the traditional springtime colors remember to use more than just purple and yellow.  Try soft blues and pinks instead and see if these don't work well for your designs.  Break these up with unexpected colors such as a bit of black or grey. 

You can also get away from the typical embellishments for Easter scrapbooking layouts.  While you may always associate eggs and bunnies with Easter, try making pages that are a bit more generic.  Use stripes and circles in contrasting designs that really offset one another.  Try embellishments like buttons or ribbon rather than just eggs and bunnies to decorate your pages.  You can even use metallic embellishments to give your Easter scrapbooking layouts some added visual interest and to make them unique.  Look at pages of other layouts that you like and try to see what catches your eye.  Is it the use of color or of contrasting designs and patterns?  Does the page look somewhat serious or is it more "cute" and fancy?  Is it even downright silly?  If you can tune in to what you like about other Easter scrapbooking layouts you may get a jumping off point for your own.

Remember that your scrapbooks are your own to create any way you want with any theme or color scheme you want to use.  You're not obligated to create Easter scrapbooking layouts using certain colors or embellishments or anything else.  If you prefer a particular color scheme then you should use that.  You need to create what interests you and makes your hobby enjoyable for yourself personally.
